| EMS provides
users with fast access mechanisms to other sources of information on the subjects
related to the Secretariat. The Internet map shows links with other institutions
that could provide support to the following activities within the scope of
development of the research process.
Also, in order to cooperate with the
advancement of research applied to the analysis of environmental problems in Latin
America and the Caribbean, EMS has begun to organise a data base on
institutions that can provide financial support at any stage of implementation of a
research project on theses subjects.
