- The Federation of Municipalities of the Central American Isthmus (FEMICA) and the International Development Research Centre – Canada (Regional Office for Latin America and the Caribbean), have signed an Agreement for the promotion of activities aimed at institutional and local capacity building in urban management in Central America, through the EMS.

ANDE, a Peruvian NGO devoted to environmental issues launched, together with environmental workers and the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, the “Environmental Campaign for Massive House Clean-up” which resulted not only in the benefit of the city but also of the workers who will be trained in water networks, installation and maintenance of sewage systems, thanks to the support of AMANCO.
