the right of housing. Financial mechanisms in environmental management initiatives: - Three
municipalities in Bolivia (Guardia, Tomo, Porongo) wish to implement a
project on the alternative uses or a pilot programme to improve Piraí
River. - Solid Waste
Treatment Project for the Preparation of Organic Waste through the Enzyme
Decomposition in the Guija Lake basin, El Salvador, is looking for
financial support. - Project on Urban Solid Waste in Mexico is looking for industrial partner. Draft project can be requested to J. Hearing was held to deal with 12 relevant cases of contamination and other
impacts on water resources in the Central American region, together with
the opening of the “Latin American Forum on Water Resources: Water and
Society”. Central American Water Court: traqua@sol.racsa.co.cr Public-Private Partnership ANDE, a Peruvian
NGO devoted to environmental issues launched, together with environmental
workers and the Metropolitan Municipality of Lima, the “Environmental
Campaign for Massive House Clean-up” which resulted not only in the
benefit of the city but also of the workers who will be trained in water
networks, installation and maintenance of sewage systems, thanks to the
